NHL DFS: 11/19/22

We have another13-game slate for tonight, and it is mostly evenly matched games.  What we are looking for are the diamonds on the rough, those few teams that may put up some knockout numbers.

Top Teams to Target

Boston Bruins (Implied Goals 3.61) – Not sure what else can be said about the Bruins.  They have the best record in hockey, lead the league in Goals per game (4.00), and are in the top 10 of Corsi and Fenwick.  And tonight they get the Chicago Blackhawks, on home ice, who are starting to show their lack of talent.

Toronto Maple Leafs (Implied Goals 3.81) – The Leafs are home and welcome the flailing Buffalo Sabres, who are allowing 3.69 goals per game.

Vegas Golden Knights (Implied Goals 3.66) – The Golden Knights are the best road team in the game averaging 4 goals a game on road ice.  The Oilers don’t play defense and have poor goaltending.  This is a stackable game as Connor McDavid is always dangerous but look for Vegas to put 4 on the board easily.

Detroit Red Wings (Implied Goals 3.68) – The Red Wings have been struggling with putting the puck in the net, but tonight they travel to Columbus where the Blue Jackets allow a league-leading 4.31 goals per game. The Wings should fly under the radar, so this may provide leverage.

Jayden Reed Had Collarbone And Foot Surgeries
Packers WR Jayden Reed said on social media Tuesday that he had successful surgeries on his collarbone and foot. We knew he was getting his broken collarbone fixed, but Reed also addressed what's been reported as a Jones fracture in his left foot. It's unclear if that surgery changes Reed's 6-8 week timetable for return. We'll look for further updates on his status. Reed is not a must-hold in fantasy leagues with shallow benches.
