NFL DFS: Thursday Night Football Showdown – Ravens at Bucs
The Line: Ravens +2.5 | O/U 46
Last week we finally got some scoring on a Thursday night. I don’t think this will be as exciting, but both teams are passing funnels with a poor pass rush. I expect lots of throwing so we will be rostering both QBs.

Captain/MVP Picks
Lamar Jackson – QB, $17,700 (DK), $17,000 (FD)
Lamar is the best player on the field tonight and easily has the highest ceiling. Even if the Ravens are without Mark Andrews, he runs more and picks up the three-point, 100-yard bonus. P.J. Walker managed 15 DK points against the Bucs, so imagine what Jackson can do.
Also Consider: Chris Godwin
FLEX Picks
Tom Brady – QB, $10,000 (DK), $15,000 (FD)
The Ravens don’t apply much pressure on opposing Quarterbacks and are at the bottom of the league in sacks. Brady should have plenty of time to pick his targets tonight. Plus the GOAT always comes to play in Prime Time.
Gus Edwards – RB, $7,600 (DK), $12,000 (FD)
Edwards got the starting nod last week and he took over the backfield. While I see this as a passing game, the Ravens will insist on running the ball. Last week, Edwards’ carries came in the RedZone where he scored twice. I can see a scenario where this happens again.
Chris Godwin – WR, $9,000 (DK), $12,500 (FD)
He is one of Brady’s favorite targets, averaging 13.1 DraftKings points and 10.3 targets per game in his past four games.
Also Consider: Leonard Fournette, Mike Evans, Mark Andrews
Value Picks
Cade Otton – TE, $5,400 (DK), $8,000 (FD)
Otton finished second in receiving yards against the Panthers, grabbing four of his five targets for 64 yards. He’s gotten a respectable amount of targets per game since Cameron Brate has gone down with an injury. Russell Gage is out for Tampa tonight, leaving Otton as a great short pass target.
Rechaad White – RB, $4,000 (DK), $7,500 (FD)
This is a dart throw for large GPPs. He is only getting 6 carries a game, but if he can somehow sneak in a TD he could be a slate-breaker. I wouldn’t play him with Fournette in the same lineup.
