NFL DFS: Sunday Night Football – Steelers at Dolphins

The Line: Miami -7.5 | O/U 44.5

My game script is Miami passing all over the Steelers and taking the lead early, forcing Pittsburgh to pass a lot.

Captain/MVP Picks

Tua Tagovailoa – QB, $16,500 (DK), $15,500 (FD)

Tua is back after a very scary injury several weeks ago.  Pittsburgh’s defense is a passing funnel and I expect Tua to take advantage. I also like him as the DK Captan since he is not the most expensive player on the board.

Also Consider: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle

FLEX Picks

Tyreek Hill – WR, $11,200 (DK), $16,000 (FD)

I expect Miami’s passing game to explode tonight. I lean towards Tyreek Hill because Jaylen Waddle has a lingering injury, but both are viable Flex plays.

Kenny Pickett – QB, $9,200 (DK), $14,500 (FD)

I am 50/50 on this.  I expect the Steelers to be behind, therefore a high volume of passing plays.  But Pickett is also prone to mistakes and turnovers.  Ultimately I decided the volume with outweigh the mistakes and I will roll with him.  Feel free to swap in another player that fits your build.

George Pickens – WR, $6,400 (DK), $8,500 (FD)

Having Kenny Pickett back at QB is good news for Pickens as they clearly have a connection.  He ranks fifth in average target depth and is likely to have a big play for a TD, easily covering his cost.

Also Consider: Raheem Mosert, Jaylen Waddle

Value Picks

Miami Dolphins – D/ST, $4,000 (DK), $9,000 (FD)

Miami’s defense is not great this year, but they are facing a turn-over-prone Rookie who is going to have to throw the ball a lot tonight. There is a very good chance they hold the Steelers under 20 points and get a turnover or two.

Pat Freiermuth – TE, $5,000 (DK), $8,000 (FD)

Freiermuth is seeing more than six targets a game and a 33% red zone target rate. He is dirt cheap on both sites, and Pittsburgh will have to throw the ball to keep up.

Jayden Reed Had Collarbone And Foot Surgeries
Packers WR Jayden Reed said on social media Tuesday that he had successful surgeries on his collarbone and foot. We knew he was getting his broken collarbone fixed, but Reed also addressed what's been reported as a Jones fracture in his left foot. It's unclear if that surgery changes Reed's 6-8 week timetable for return. We'll look for further updates on his status. Reed is not a must-hold in fantasy leagues with shallow benches.
