NHL DFS: 10/20/22

This article will be updated throughout the day as skater information comes in. Please check back periodically or join our Discord.

A classic 12-game Thursday slate tonight.  Most vegas lines are close, as expected this early in the season.  I like to focus on a few teams in large slates like this. Trying t roster everyone is a fool’s errand, and being focused will help to lower the variance of so many games.

Top Teams to Target

New York Rangers – The hottest team in hockey has the San Jose Sharks coming to town.  SJ has been dreadful to start the season posting an 0-5-0 record with 19 goals against,  I expect the Rangers to dominate.

Boston Bruins – You could argue Boston is the hottest team in hockey. Tonight they welcome Anaheim to the east coast, who has had a mixed start.  The Ducks have given up the second most shots (170) this season.

Pittsburgh Penguins – Do you know who has given up the most shots this season?  The LA Kings with a whopping 174. Crosby and company have found the fountain of youth and are scoring on bunches.

Calgary Flames – Calgary has started strong and Buffalo has very suspect goaltending. This is a great spot for a late-night hammer.
