Alec Pierce placed on PUP list to begin camp
Ankle injury Alec Pierce, who is moving into a much larger role as Indy's #1 WR, was placed on the PUP list to start camp by the #colts. He's recovering from ankle surgery that took place in March and had a 4-6 month recovery. (James Palmer on X) FF Today's Take: We figured this would happen. Pierce can be removed the list at any point during camp. HC Shane Steichen indicated a few days ago that Pierce will "get ramped up during training camp." Being paid like a true No.1 receiver, we're expecting Pierce's role to grow in the offense this season. However, missing minicamp and a portion of training camp could lead to a slow start once the regular season begins.

Falcons Sign Cooper Rush; Tua Tagovailoa, Michael Penix Jr. Sidelined
The Falcons are signing quarterback Cooper Rush, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Rush will replace Trevor Siemian, whom the Falcons released with a non-football injury on Wednesday. Chris Rodriguez limited to individual work as camp begins
Foot injury #Jaguars RB Chris Rodriguez Jr. (foot) has been cleared and will do individual work today but team will ramp him up so no team work initially. Same for CB Christian Braswell. (Ryan O'Halloran on X) FF Today's Take: It's a good sign for Rodriguez that he didn't begin camp on the PUP list, but he'll be limited to individual work and hopefully ramp up to team drills in the coming days. He'll be fighting for touches in the Jaguars backfield this season along with Bhayshul Tuten with Tuten currently being the preferred fantasy option.
