The Chalk Board | DFS Ownership Pivots

Moving off the chalk has always been a guide to success in DFS. Let’s explore what the simulation and projected ownership say about where we can pivot from the public and gain an edge on the field.

Quarterbacks
DraftKings
Good Chalk: Murray, Richardson
Bad Chalk: Penix, Allen, Burrow
Pivots: Darnold, Geno, Williams
Value: Maye, Rodgers, Young

Fanduel
Good Chalk: Richardson, Baker, Hurts
Bad Chalk: Allen, Burrow, Penix
Pivots: Daniels, Rodger, Geno, Rodgers
Value: Williams, Rush, Stafford

I can’t get behind Rookies in their first starts, I can’t get behind DTR. Allen has no reason to push like he has in the past few weeks, and I don’t think Burrow has a reason to blow up either, but I don’t blame you if you want in on him and Chase. Geno and Rodgers face awful pass defenses and Caleb is in my favorite game target on the day.

Running Backs
DraftKings
Good Chalk: Gibbs, Conner, Bijan
Bad Chalk: Hubbard, Brown, Achane, Davis, Reynolds
Pivots: Kyren, Jones, Cook
Value: Ford, Stevenson, Spears, Abdullah

Fanduel
Good Chalk: Gibbs, Conner, Bijan
Bad Chalk: Hubbard, Brown, Achane, Davis, Reynolds
Pivots: Kyren, Jones, Cook, Barkley
Value: Ford, Stevenson, ETN

I hate the flyer RBs today with so much value in guys like Ford, Abdullah or Mattison, P Taylor. Take guys with roles.

Wide Receivers
Draftkings
Good Chalk: Chase, Thomas, Meyers, Allen, Nacua
Bad Chalk: Nabers, DJ Moore, Jennings, Metcalf
Pivots: AJ Brown, Hill, St. Brown, Thielen, Shakir, JSN
Value: David Moore, Shakir, Ridley, Smith, Downs, Coker, Douglas

Fanduel
Good Chalk: Puka, Jennings, St. Brown
Bad Chalk: DJ Moore, Chase, Williams, Ridley, Thielen
Pivots: Lamb, Adams, Allen, Thomas, Higgins
Value: Meyers, Shakir, Addison, Downs Coker

I got JSN Locked, Meyers Locked, and really loving the midrange priced guys this week. I’m balancing the lineups without a ton of top end.

Tight Ends
Draftkings
Good Chalk: McBride, Strange, Ertz, Smith
Bad Chalk: Njoku, LaPorta, Kincaid
Pivots: Bowers, Kittle, Henry, Hockenson
Value: Gesicki, Okonkwo, Conklin

Fanduel
Good Chalk: McBride, Strange, Hockenson
Bad Chalk: Ertz, Henry, LaPorta, Kincaid, Njoku
Pivots: Ferguson, Bowers, Kittle, Smith
Value: Kmet, Okonkwo, Fant

I will be Strange or McBride in nearly 100%

Defenses
Truly nothing sticks out. I’m going cheap with LV, NYJ, SF, or punting to CHI. Target new and bad QBs where you can though.

Recent News

Browns LG Joel Bitonio (back) did not practice Thursday.
Bitonio has now missed back-to-back days to start the week with this new back listing. It's possible he misses Cleveland's Week 3 game against the Packers on Sunday, but linemen usually get more leeway on not practicing, particular veterans like Bitonio, when they are hurt. We'd be unsurprised if he was listed with a questionable tag on Friday.
