NFL DFS: Monday Night Football Showdown Week 12

Please join us in Discord for the latest news and advice.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We did well on Sunday night with our captain and value picks hitting big. Let’s see if we can continue that trend tonight.

Tonight we have the Steelers at the Colts in a defensive slugfest. The one on this game is a meager 39.5 with the Colts favored by 2.5. Leaving us with an implied game total of 17-22. Not exciting to say the least. I could also see this game going under.

Captain/MVP

Jonathon Taylor, RB – Colts
The world laughed when Jeff Saturday was hired as head coach, but he changed the offensive line and gave Taylor new life. JT has scored 27 and 18 DK points in his last 2 games, with over 20 attempts and receptions each game. He is the safest play at Captain/MVP.

Flex Players

Najee Harris, RB – Steelers
Matt Ryan, QB – Colts
George Pickens, WR – Steelers
Paris Campbell, WR – Colts

Harris tops my flex list for the same reason as Taylor, Pittsburgh’s recent emphasis on the run. In each of the last 2 games, Harris has over 20 carries and 90 yards, with 2 TDs and 4 receptions last week.

Since his return, Matt Ryan is averaging 220 yards and 30 passes a game, with no interceptions. He has been fairly even in who he passes to also, splitting targets between Pittman and Campbell. Paris offers a discount, with the same target share.

Value Plays

Defenses and Kickers

Yes, I think it’s going to be one of those games. I am not seeing any roster-able players cheaper than Defense and Kickers and in a game with this low of an implied total, these can be valuable plays.

As always hit us up on Discord and we can help with your builds!

Malik Washington caught all three targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins' preseason Week 3 game against the Jaguars.
Washington was targeted on three of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's eight pass attempts from the first three drives of the team's final preseason contest, the final of which went for a nifty touchdown from 25 yards out. It was a simple crossing route on a quarterback bootleg, with Washington catching it in the flat before putting on the breaks and leaving his defender in the dust. The obvious caveat here is that both Tyreek Hill and DeVon Achane remained out of the lineup, but Washington has surely shown the same on-field connection with Tagovailoa this preseason that has been reported in camp, making him a viable late-round dart in best ball contests the rest of the way.
