NFL DFS: Sunday Night Football Showdown – Green Bay at Buffalo

The Line: Buffalo -10.5 | O/U 47

Buffalo should dominate this game with an implied total of 34 points.  They do not slow down and will continue to score until the last 2 minutes.  The safest, but most common build will be a Buffalo onslaught.

Captain/MVP Picks

Josh Allen, BUF – QB

Josh Allen has proven he is matchup-proof.  He has the highest floor and ceiling in this game and that is what we want in our 1.5x Captain/MVP slot.  He is expensive on DK. If you can’t roster him in Captain he must be in your flex.

Alternative: Devin Singletary, BUF – RB

A Buffalo stack is the way to go and by rostering Singletary as your captain, you can save some salary and differentiate your lineup.

FLEX Picks

Stefon Diggs, BUF – WR
Gabe Davis, BUF – WR

Any Buffalo stack and you must roster one of these receivers as they command over 70% of Josh Allen’s targets. My preference is Steffon Diggs. With his price, he may go lower owned.

Aaron Jones, GB – RB

Green Bay just does not have any receivers this week.  Adam Lazard is out and Romeo Doubs is inconsistent. Jones represents the safest and most trusted target that Aaron Rodgers has.  I can see his receptions hovering around 6-8 and if he can punch on a TD he will give you an edge.

Alternative: Aaron Rodgers, GB – QB

Rodgers is by far the best player on the field for GB and the game script we are predicting will lead to Green bay being behind and having to pass. He will be popular which is why I prefer Jones, but he is good enough to keep the Packers in the game with the worst receivers.

Value Picks

Romeo Doubs, GB – WR

With Adam Lazard out tonight, it’s time for Doubs to step up. Aaron Rodgers has been talking Doubs up this week, so hopefully, that translates into more targets.  At only $4k on DK, he only needs 4-40 to be worth the roster spot.

Buffalo Defense

If you think this will be a route like I do, the Bill’s defense should be in your lineup.  I will be playing around 10 lineups, and well, a few will have the Bill’s Defense as captain.
