NHL DFS: 10/14/22

After a massive 10-game slate last night, we slim down to 4 games.  This slate features 2 teams, Detroit and Winnepeg, who are playing their first game of the season, and they are both home openers. Patrick Laine has been placed on IR, seriously crippling the Columbus offense. I expect Tampa to roll over them tonight. Detroit has slightly improved on defense and in goalie, but they are young and will give up a lot of shots.  A DET/MON stack is a good play tonight.

Rapoport: Jayden Daniels A "Long Shot" To Play Week 3
Commanders QB Jayden Daniels (knee) is a "long shot" to play vs. the Raiders this weekend, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said Thursday night. Daniels' injury isn't serious, but the team will "err on the side of caution," Rapoport added. This is the vibe we've gotten on Daniels all week. QB Marcus Mariota is the favorite to start against Vegas and sits surprisingly high in the Week 3 QB rankings. We'll update Daniels' status again on Friday.
